On the October 16 episode of tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” (hereinafter referred to as “You Quiz”), “Culinary Class Wars” contestants Napoli Mafia and Edward Lee appeared as guests.
Reflecting on his victory, Napoli Mafia said: “Looking back, I still think, ‘How did I win?’ Watching the show now, everything becomes even clearer, and recently I started thinking: ‘How did I beat those people?’ But I also feel that if I competed again, I could win.”
Yoo Jae-suk commented, “You must have received many offers of television appearances” to which Napoli Mafia responded, “There was really only one thing I wanted to do. It’s a little embarrassing, but since everyone on “You Quiz” wears suits, I ordered a custom-made one after I won.”
As for its current situation after the show, Napoli Mafia revealed: “There’s a booking app and there are about 20,000 people on the waiting list. I’m incredibly grateful, but there’s also a bit of pressure. We always accept bookings in small amounts to ensure the quality of the experience. It’s more about providing a meaningful experience than simply making money.”
Then, Yoo Jae-suk asked, “The prize was 300 million won ($225,000). May I ask how you intend to use it It?”

I immediately invested the entire 300 million won to secure a rental property near my restaurant. It helps me focus on work as it makes my commute easier. Furthermore, Yoo Jae-suk said: “You competed against Chef Edward Lee. We contacted him and he was going to the airport but said he could join us before his flight,” creating anticipation for Edward Lee’s surprise appearance.
When Edward Lee appeared, Yoo Jae-suk asked the chef, “Other chefs have restaurants in Korea and get a lot of bookings. What about you, since your restaurant is in the United States?”
To this, Edward Lee responded with humor, “Of course, I would like to have a restaurant in Korea. Seems like a missed opportunity after being here on TV. There are not many customers in the United States”
Yoo Jae-suk said jokingly: “You don’t have any recognition in the United States?”, to which Edward Lee replied, “A little, but if you know a wealthy investor, please introduce them to them. I would like to open a restaurant in Korea.”
Jo Se-ho then suggested, “We are lucky! There’s a rich investor right here,” pointing to Yoo Jae-suk.
