“Culinary Class Wars” Ahn Yu-seong Shares His Emotional Thoughts on Eliminating “Looking at My Mother’s Photo at Sunrise”

On October 3, Ahn Yu-seong posted several photos via his SNS along with the caption: “While filming “Culinary Class Wars,” I went two whole days without sleep. The hardest part was going out alone at dawn, looking at my mother’s photo, and trying to keep my mental state from collapsing.

The photos included moments from filming “Culinary Class Wars” and a childhood photo of Ahn Yu-seong with his mother.

In episodes 8-10, released on October 1, the show featured a team mission to a restaurant to determine the top 8 contestants. Ahn Yu-seong was dropped from chef Choi Hyun-seok’s team and ended up collaborating on “Comic Book” and “Self-Made.”

However, their team was smaller than the others, putting them at a disadvantage. During the actual operation of the restaurant, the team had difficulty serving dishes quickly. Despite these challenges, no advantages were given to the trio, and ultimately, their team had the lowest sales, leading to their elimination.

After the broadcast, many viewers expressed frustration with Ahn Yu-seong’s elimination, with some commenting: “If this isn’t bullying, then what is?

Regarding Ahn Yu-seong’s heartfelt statements and struggles behind the scenes, viewers shared messages of support, saying, “I’m so angry“, “Staying up all night is too much” AND “My heart breaks for him.”

With only two episodes left before the winner is announced, “Culinary Class Wars” will release the final episodes on October 8.
