On August 21st, Netflix previewed the highly anticipated docuseries Pop star Academy: KATSEYE. The formation of the K-Pop group follows MOVES AND Geffen Recordings international girl group KATEYE before the survival show The debut: Dream Academy.
However, the docuseries has received mixed reactions since Big hand was introduced. Many fans rushed to her defense, claiming that she was mistreated. Several other girls featured in the docuseries, including some members of KATSEYE, were accused of treating her poorly.

However, one of the girls most frequently criticized for the alleged mistreatment suffered by Manon is the former The Debut: Dream Academy Slovak competitor and trainee Adele.
Adéla received backlash after the clips of Pop star Academy: KATSEYE were circulating. In them, she is depicted complaining about Manon, claiming that Manon was favored without any effort and only because of the images.

Now Adéla has opened up about the docuseries in a new video on TikTok.
First, Adéla thanked people for the love and support she has received since then. However, she also addressed the critical comments and messages. She reiterated that the docuseries is just a “look” into the personal lives of the interns. Many conversations and situations were not included since filming lasted two years, but were edited into eight episodes.

Adéla also revealed that she is preparing to release solo music. The video has gone viral, with 362.2K views at the time of writing. Many followers have commented positively, defending her and anticipating the next chapter of her life.
However, Adéla has also received more critical comments. Some continue to overshadow her alleged mistreatment of Manon.
