Controversial actor Kim Ji-Soo‘s recent career update has sparked a strong backlash.
In 2021, he was accused of school violence, bullying, sexual harassment, and assault. Jisoo enlisted in the military shortly afterward, and in 2023, he provided an update on the allegations, saying that the original accuser had forgiven him.
Following the controversy, Ji Soo hinted at a return to acting.

When the post was shared, netizens expressed their anger that the company hired Kim Ji Soo, especially because of her past allegations and controversies. Many also added that those celebrities who are struggling in Korea due to controversies have traveled to Southeast Asian countries to try to rebuild their careers.
