The 2024 MAMA Awards will be graced by none other than “K-pop King” G-Dragon!
This year’s MAMA Awards have finally revealed the event’s third artist lineup, with BIGBANG’s frontman among the artists included.
Aside from G-Dragon, the third lineup will have BIBI, BOYNEXTDOOR, (G)I-DLE and PLAVE.
G-Dragon’s return to the MAMA Awards caused a stir in the K-pop community, as his last appearance at the awards show was nine years ago in 2015.
All eyes are currently on the “Crayon” singer, as he is expected to bring captivating performances to the event with his music, talent and showmanship.
In line with this exciting schedule, G-Dragon will also make his long-awaited solo return. On October 8, G-Dragon’s agency Galaxy Corporation released a short statement regarding the idol’s return.
“We are now coordinating an official date for his return,” the agency shared, adding that nothing has been finalized on the date of his return. They also revealed that G-Dragon was nearing the final stages of preparing his album.
Fans are also expecting whether the K-pop legend will perform his new release at the 2024 MAMA Awards.
Meanwhile, G-Dragon’s upcoming music will mark his first release in over seven years since his 2017 mini-album “Kwon Ji Young.”
G-Dragon will also appear on tvN’s variety show “You Quiz on the Block,” where he will show more of his comeback.
On October 21, the icon also shared a mysterious teaser that seemingly hints at his new music, sparking enthusiastic reactions from fans.
