“Recently, Jung Yong Hwa felt discomfort in his knee and went to the hospital for a detailed examination,” the statement read. “He was diagnosed with a meniscus tear in his right knee. Following the recommendation of the medical team, today he will undergo surgery to repair the meniscus tear.

After extensive discussions with the artist, we have decided to proceed with his next scheduled activities within reasonfollowing the indications and recommendations of the medical team,” he continued.

The announcement comes after an eventful year for CNBLUE. The band thrilled fans in late 2024 with their long-awaited comeback, releasing their tenth mini album “X”, on October 14 at 6 PM KST. The album marked an exciting return to the music scene, showcasing the band’s signature sound and highlighting their growth as artists.
