On December 27, YouTube channel “M:USB” posted a video showing Choi Daniel meeting with actress Jeon So-min.
In the video, Choi Daniel surprised everyone by saying: “My mother died when I was four. My older brother is six years older than me. So, when I was four years old, my brother was in elementary school, and that’s when our mother died.”
He continued, “My father was very busy because he had to raise the two of us alone. We needed at least the bare essentials, so it was incredibly busy. I also started working when I was little and have lived alone since I was 20. So the time to express those feelings has passed me by. Now that I’m older I try to do it more.”
The actor then confessed: “When I was in school, school uniforms were so expensive. Then there was this famous brand called Ivy Club. I couldn’t afford that brand. I ended up buying my uniform at a place near the school, like Samil Uniforms or something, otherwise I wore the school used ones.”
He added, “My school uniform was white. That’s why I hated playing in my uniform as a child. Because if it got stained while you were playing, it would be a problem the next day. We ate school lunch in class. This friend of mine was there and we sat across from each other at the desk while we ate lunch. We were joking around and he accidentally threw something. The soy sauce from his braised potatoes splashed onto my uniform. We were close, but in the end we argued.”
Meanwhile, Choi Daniel and Jeon So-min star together in KBS Joy’s drama “Sorry Not Sorry.”
