Recently, BLACKPINK’s Lisa returned to her home country of Thailand to perform at the “Amazing Thailand Countdown” festival held at ICONSIAM. Lisa’s rumored boyfriend, Frédéric Arnault, also appeared at the event, reportedly to show his support and even arriving early to meet Lisa’s parents.
Following the aforementioned event, Lisa was spotted at the famous Siam Paragon shopping mall in Bangkok, with fan-taken images spreading across the internet.
However, despite the fact that the female idol did not visit the mall with her alleged lover, such false rumors were published.
Those rumors came from a video showing Lisa walking around the mall, with the angle appearing to be captured by a CCTV camera. This sparked concerns that CCTV footage from the shopping center had been leaked to spread lies about Lisa’s private life.
As a result, Lisa’s fans criticized Siam Paragon for its inadequate security measures.
“There is a video of Lisa circulating online that appears to be from one of your mall cameras, spreading lies about her private life. How is it possible that someone accesses it without a valid reason? Where has the respect for privacy gone? Please fire whoever is running the CCTV”wrote a huge fan account in a post that has surpassed 15,000 views.
The suspected CCTV footage has since been deleted, but Siam Paragon has issued no response.
