V (of BTS) was recently chosen by a renowned plastic surgeon in South Korea as the ultimate visual representative of K‑pop. Surprisingly, this idol is also the one whose photo is most often brought to the clinic by South Korean men hoping to “look like” him. Specifically, surgeon Lee Kyung Mook recently hosted a special program titled “Visual Ideal Type Tournament” on the Objet Plastic Surgery YouTube channel.
The video featured 32 male idols from major K‑pop groups such as BTS, SEVENTEEN, Stray children, NCT, ENIPENE AND TXTas well as solo artist and visual star Cha Eun‑woo. The idols were paired up in rounds and Dr Lee rated the visual appeal of each, eliminating contestants round after round. In the final round, he selected V (Kim Taehyung) by BTS as the final winner.

Explaining his decision, Dr Lee said:
“V is someone that men also find extremely beautiful. When male clients come for a consultation, the photo they most often bring is his. He is the star that men most want to be like.”
This statement is quite significant, because in the cosmetic surgery industry in South Korea, where it is very common to bring a photo of a celebrity into the clinic, the fact that men, who often do not admit that they want to look like someone else, bring VThe photo shows that her visual appeal transcends gender barriers.

V not only is he recognized as one of K‑pop’s best visuals, but he has received numerous titles such as “the most handsome man in the world” from global media over the years. Many plastic surgeons say that her face is close to the classic golden ratio. With its striking appearance and unique aura, V remains a sought-after name in the beauty industry. More recently, Korean and Japanese cosmetics brands TIRTIR and Yunth have chosen him as their ambassador and launched major advertising campaigns leveraging his global influence.
