On October 20, BTS’s Suga became a victim of the “funeral flower wreath” protests, as various wreaths were laid in front of HYBE’s headquarters.
The wreaths, which take up the entire facade of the building, call for BTS’ Suga to leave the group after being fined for drunk driving in August.
The protest also took a step forward from the “funeral flower garland” protest previously made to former RIIZE member Seunghan, who left the group due to strong fan opposition despite SM Entertainment initially saying he would returned.
Notably, this time, there are guards around the crowns to prevent people from removing or tampering with them.

As the situation worsened, a Korean fan claimed that they were behind the flower garlands, claiming that they had hired people to protect the garlands.
“You don’t know what I can do to Yoongi (real name of Suga from BTS),” said fan also stated, before adding a scary death threat of “You think I can’t kill Yoongi?”
The fan then went live to claim that they will kill BTS’s Suga, before turning off the live feed and deleting all previous posts.
Since the fan’s headquarters is in Korea, many netizens show concern for Suga’s safety and ask others to send reports to HYBE so that the company takes adequate measures to protect its artists.
