Samsung is reportedly considering abandoning Behind the scenes as ambassadors because of Sugardrunk driving scandal.

On August 28, The Korea Herald reported that a Samsung insider revealed that Samsung may have decided to change its ambassadors. Currently, BTS is Samsung’s brand champion, a partnership they have had for years.

Regardless of their fandom, there are risks in having an ambassador who has caused controversy. Their partnership needs to be carefully considered.

Samsung Insider later claimed that despite this, Samsung would not take steps to immediately exclude Suga from the campaigns.
