On October 14, RM posted a screenshot of some lyrics from his song “Groin” on his personal account.
This track is included on RM’s album “Right Place, Wrong Person”, released on May 24. The text contains lines such as: “The world is full of thoughtless bastards / Anyway, leave me alone / The world is full of thoughtless bastards” AND “Let me say something before the frustration kills me / If I don’t like you, I’ll go bbangsang / Bbangsang, bbangsang, I’ll go bbangsang / Like I can do anything, now no one can stop me, bangsang.“
After RM posted this, speculation emerged that he was targeting Lee Jin-ho, who caused financial harm to BTS’ Jimin through illegal gambling.
On October 14, Lee Jin-ho admitted to engaging in illegal gambling through his official account. He stated: “I accidentally started playing on an illegal online gambling site in 2020 and found myself in unmanageable debt. After receiving stern warnings from acquaintances and fearing that I would not be able to continue this job that I love, I belatedly came to my senses and stopped gambling, but I had already received financial help from many people.“
He added: “I will consistently pay back the money every month and intend to repay this debt solely with my own efforts until the day I die. Although the financial loss is unfortunate, I am very sorry to those who trusted me and lent me money.”
Lee Jin-ho is said to have borrowed 100 million won from Jimin in 2022, using his family as an excuse and promising to repay it within a week.
In relation to this, Jimin’s agency, Big Hit Music, told Newsen on October 14: “It is true that the financial damage occurred as reported, and all Jimin did was write a promissory note when he loaned the money.“
