From BTS debuted twelve years ago, ARMY has learned a lot about the group’s seven members. Even so, much of the idols’ pre-debut lives are still not known to the public.
Like the rest BTS, RM he tends to keep his personal and public life separate, especially when it comes to his family. However, he occasionally shares photos and snippets from his pre-debut days with fans.
On January 20th, RM shared new childhood photos of himself and his father in an Instagram story. In the photos, RM’s father poses for the camera while carrying little RM on his back. According to the timestamps of the photos, RM was only three years old at the time.
RM also shared details about his birth. Given that he weighed 4.47 kg (9.8 lbs) at birth, it seems that RM was destined to become one of the biggest members of BTS! In Korea, the average weight of male newborns is between 2.5 kg and 4 kg.
After seeing RM’s birth weight, fans had nothing but good things to say about RM’s mom. The ARMYs thank her for her service!
