On December 12, BTS’ official YouTube channel, BANGTANTV, released a new video titled “Jin ‘Happy’ Special Stage Behind – BTS.”
The 18-minute video features the male idol’s special on-stage preparation for his recent EP, “Happy,” released on Nov. 15, including his collaboration with Red Velvet’s Wendy for the b-side “Heart on the Window.”
On this day, the two idols were inside a practice studio where they greeted each other and bowed awkwardly.
Despite this atmosphere, both showed professionalism by seriously contributing while working when Jin tried to break the wall with his hilarious comment about Wendy’s singing ability.
As he showed her what to do, Jin looked at her intently.
“You have an extra lung,” he blurted out, leaving the office in fits of laughter.
However, this wasn’t enough to break the ice because Wendy also noticed it.
“I feel like our awkwardness is evident.”
After she left, Jin also told the camera what she honestly felt after meeting her young man for the first time.
“She’s a really amazing singer. (But) it’s the first time I’ve met her. We’ve never even said hello. We’ve only talked a few times about how we should do the song, but it’s been so awkward since we met just today. I don’t even know how to talk to her,” Jin confessed.
As the video progressed, the “Running Wild” singer continued to recap his interaction with the Red Velvet member during final rehearsals.

“This is the second time I’ve seen it since band practice, so I had a hard time watching it. But I was asked to watch it at least once during the show. I’ll do my best to do so.”
However, the video implied that a phase of “legendary social distancing” had instead occurred, in which the two third-generation stars were seen performing meters away from each other.
Seeing this, ARMYs were left smiling at the awkward yet cute interaction between the two.
“The editors are hilarious about Jin and Wendy’s social distancing. I love their staff,” one fan commented.
“I still smile every time Jin and Wendy interact like it’s so awkward but cute at the same time!” wrote another.
