Around the time you turned 25 (in 2016-2017), was also the time BTS gained global recognition. What is your greatest memory from that period? And what advice would you give yourself then?
— Vogue Japan
Jin revealed that at that age he often complained about his busy schedule. He wishes he could warn his younger self that complaining doesn’t make things better, but he recognizes that he wouldn’t have listened to himself.
When I was 25, I was so busy with work that I sometimes complained about it. I wish I could tell my younger self that thinking this way doesn’t help, but I honestly don’t think it would have made a difference.

Jin recognizes that we naturally mature as we age. So, he expects he will want to teach himself lessons years from now.
As I’ve gotten older, my mindset has naturally changed. I’m sure that in 10 years I’ll probably want to talk to myself too (laughs).
