BTS member V (Kim Taehyung) warmed hearts around the world after expressing gratitude for a small Christmas gift he received from a taxi driver, sharing the touching moment with fans via a short live broadcast. The original Turkish chocolate brand behind the gift also responded with a heartfelt message of thanks.
On the night of December 22, V went live for just over a minute to share what he called a “special moment.” Explaining that he turned on the transmission “just to show it off”, he revealed a Christmas present he had received from a taxi driver on his way home. The gift turned out to be Turkish chocolate, Tuvana, a simple but thoughtful gesture that clearly moved him.
Appearing in Chrome Hearts glasses, a brown cap with the letter “A” and a black coat, V held up the chocolate with visible excitement. He thanked the taxi driver repeatedly and explained that he thought the fans should also see the gift. After briefly showing off the chocolate, he ended the live broadcast without further comment, leaving a strong impression just for the sincerity of the moment.
“Shortly after the broadcast ended, Tayas Gida, the Turkish chocolate company that produces Tuvana, posted a thank you message on its official Instagram account. The company wrote: “A small gift, a big smile. Today we witnessed a beautiful moment.” They continued: *”Kim Taehyung shared Tayas Tuvana Turkish chocolate, which was given to him by a taxi driver, during his live broadcast.
This has become a great source of happiness and motivation for us.”* Underlining authenticity, the company added that there was no advertising or commercial collaboration involved and that they simply wanted to share the joy.”
Fans quickly flooded social media with emotional reactions. A fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “He is so rich but remains humble, finding happiness in the smallest things and sharing it with us. He is truly a gem of a person.” Others praised V for valuing the kindness more than the gift itself, noting that what touched him the most was the gesture behind it.
