BTS’ V Ranks 4th on Google’s List of the World’s Most Searched People in 2025

According to Indian education and data platform Jagran Josh, V placed fourth in the “Top 10 most searched people on Google in 2025,” after Donald Trump, Elon Musk and Taylor Swift. The list includes figures from politics, sports and global pop culture, underscoring V’s exceptional reach as a Korean entertainer.

Behind V in the ranking were Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Bianca Censori and Vinesh Phogat. Jagran Josh noted that V continues to attract attention in more than 70 countries, driven by his solo musical activities, strong Instagram presence and distinctive fashion style.

V also ranked No. 6 on Jagran Josh’s list of the most sought-after male artists born after 1990, alongside names like Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles, The Weeknd, Zayn Malik and Travis Scott. The platform explained that the rankings were based on Google search data collected from 2004 to the present.

Born in December 1995, V debuted in 2013 as the lead singer of BTS, one of the most successful global music groups in history. Beyond group activities, he has steadily built a solo career, and his first official solo mini-album, Layover, entered national and international charts in 2023.

V enlisted for mandatory military service in December 2023 and completed his service in June last year, then rejoined BTS. The group has announced plans to release a new album titled Arirang in spring 2026, followed by a world tour.

From music and fashion to global search trends, V’s consistent presence at the top of global charts reflects his enduring status as one of K-pop’s most influential global artists.
