Immediately, ARMYs began to expect a festive collaboration between BTS V and the late American singer and actor Bing Crosby.
Taehyung knew that Christmas without him wouldn’t be Christmas at all so he left us a gift

V is known to be a longtime fan of jazz.
CD! There are so many jazz songs I would like to recommend but I don’t know the song titles..
—V
I think it’s a great blessing to be able to be moved by jazz
—V
He also learned more about the genre, including playing the trumpet.

Of the many jazz musicians he admires, Bing Crosby is one of V’s favorites.

This is a video of my life. Let me share it🕴— BTS (@BTS_twt) November 6, 2021
This is my favorite video [in existence]/best video of my entire life. And now I share it with all of you
—V
For example, on social media, V posted a clip of the famous “Now You Has Jazz” scene from the classic 1956 film High Society, with Bing Crosby and Louis Armstrong.

V even used lyrics from Bing Crosby’s iconic songs to caption his photos.

Once again, when he posted a vlog, V included “It’s Been a Long, Long Time,” sung by Bing Crosby, in his driving playlist.
In the past, social media accounts created by Bing Crosby’s real estate account in memory of the late singer, including X (formerly Twitter), Facebook and Instagram, all shared the clip of V listening to “It’s Been a Long, Long Time. “
Additionally, the account followed V’s personal account on Instagram.
V’s video was even pinned on the X account. The social media manager took some time to respond to some ARMY’s comments.
You knew it @bts_bighit Is beloved V (aka Kim Taehyung) a fan of Bing Crosby? Watch V with Bing’s “It’s Been a Long, Long Time” in his latest BTS Vlog pic.twitter.com/NxpQm8R8Jv

Now it has become a reality, as the collaboration between Bing Crosby and V has been released.
Today, Bing Crosby’s official YouTube channel released the duet of the beloved holiday song “White Christmas” between the late singer and V. The music video is an animation featuring Bing Crosby and V’s dog, Yeontanrecently passed away.
ARMYs loved Yeontan’s inclusion, knowing he was immortalized. The MV feels like a tribute to both Yeontan and Bing Crosby.
Yeontan will live on forever through his musical projects. The best gift I’ve ever received. Bing Crosby and Tae’s vocals blend together so heavenly. 🎄
Shine bright up there. Make the night skies beautiful for Taehyung. 🤍#AVeryVChristmas #WhiteChristmasWithBingV @BTS_twt @BingCrosby pic.twitter.com/r2pCtnW7SI

The thought of seeing Yeontan on Bing Crosby’s official Youtube channel, an artist Taehyung has grown to look up to and has admired for years, makes me feel so proud of Tae. It must be a full circle moment for him to sing along with his idol, all while seeing the dog who… https://t.co/KzcseWdPS2

Yet, another detail made ARMYs particularly happy.
Details regarding the production of Bing Crosby and V’s “White Christmas” have been released in a newly published article. With the increase in the use of AI (artificial intelligence) in media, none were used to make this collaboration happen despite the death of Bing Crosby. While it obviously couldn’t record anything new, the producers didn’t rely on AI technology to make the collaboration happen. Instead, they used old recordings.
Bing Crosby’s voice in this song was not recreated using AI technology, but was delicately separated from the original White Christmas. His extracted vocals were paired with V’s vocals and new accompaniment was added to make it sound like they were singing in the same recording studio. pic.twitter.com/18WxKlUEnt

ARMYs were relieved to know that there was no AI involvement in the project.
More than excited about this, and so happy to have clarified: “Bing Crosby’s voice in this song is not reproduced with AI technology, but delicately separated from the original ‘White Christmas’ album recorded in the 1950s.”#WhiteChristmasWithBingV https://t.co/0k6Dgd3jOV pic.twitter.com/LZC5sG9fn7

I love that it wasn’t AI.
