Recently, the Japan Autism Association announced that many donations were received from BTS fans, noting that part of these contributions were used during the Osaka Expo.
The association said: “HYBE JAPAN’s BTS The promotion team was informed that a portion of Suga fans’ donations would be used at the Osaka Expo, and we received warm support.”
The organization added: “Through this support, we will continue our efforts to increase awareness and understanding of autism spectrum disorders.“
After news broke that Suga’s KRW 500 million donation led to the creation of a treatment center for children with autism spectrum disorders, fans were eager to contribute. Donations exceeded 1.5 million yen, accompanied by messages such as “We are happy that this warm heart is spreading widely” AND “We definitely want to help.” The association noted that these contributions not only supported its work, but also helped raise awareness about autism spectrum disorders in Japan.

In early June, Suga donated ₩5 billion KRW to Severance Children’s Hospital, which led to the opening of the Min Yoon-gi Treatment Center in September. Since late last year, Suga has personally engaged with children with autism spectrum disorders, offering musical volunteer sessions and guitar performances.
This philanthropic spirit has evidently inspired his fans in Japan, creating a ripple effect of generosity and awareness.
