The fans think it’s a good opportunity wasted.
After BTS’ Jungkook announced the news of his remix version of “Standing Next To You” last year, many fans were hoping for a collaboration with Usher.
Shortly after, they revealed that Usher would be featured on the remix!
After the new version of the song was confirmed, fans were eager to see the two artists perform the song at Super Bowl halftime show.
I’m praying but it’s very very very difficult! It’s only 15 minutes long and has a lot of old famous songs to perform.
It would be a dream to see some JK there though 🥲 The exposure would be HUGE!— LikeADreamer (@commentirecenti) February 8, 2024
Most recently, posts from the online community attracted a lot of attention after fans discovered that Jungkook had received an invitation to perform at the show!

With this, Korean netizens felt that it was a shame because it was a good opportunity for him.
- “Like Jungkook Stan, I’m honestly so sad that he joined the military early. He was at the peak of his career and could have done so much more…but they enlisted together and another member was involved in a controversy…I know he will release solo music after discharge and do well, so I’m not worried …but still.”
- “I feel like HYBE has so many opportunities like this that they don’t even talk about them and waste them… It’s such a shame… I can’t believe they let it go and are just making games… I feel like they don’t They don’t even know what the Super Bowl is.
- “Ahh that’s a shame…”
- “Isn’t this really a great opportunity? I’m not even a fan and I know it’s a real shame to miss such a great opportunity.”
- “What a wasted opportunity.”
- “Artists only trust their agencies… but the agency is throwing away all these good possibilities and is just using the group to make money… I wouldn’t say anything if they did their job well… but they always do stupid things and it’s so annoying.”
- “Ah, it’s a real shame…”
- “I’m not even a fan of his and I’m so sad that he missed this opportunity… we’re talking about the Super Bowl.”
- “I’m so sad… I can’t do anything about it now since he passed, but it’s such a shame that he went early. Jin only went late to meet the group’s schedule..”
- “What? The Super Bowl? I don’t even like K-pop, but I clicked on this because I was so shocked. I can’t believe they let him miss this opportunity.”
