Jungkook revealed details about BTS’ spring 2026 comeback during a recent livestream, teasing that the group’s choreography is almost complete and that full-scale dance rehearsals will begin this month.
During the Dec. 15 livestream, the BTS member discussed the upcoming album while acknowledging the temptation to share more information with fans. Jungkook explained that while he would like to provide more spoilers, it’s still too early to reveal everything. Despite his hesitation, he revealed several key details about what listeners can expect from the project.
Jungkook indicated that the album will feature a substantial tracklist with more performance-focused songs. He said there will be three to four tracks, although he expressed uncertainty about the exact number, saying these songs might surprise fans with their fresh approach.
In addition to the performance tracks, Jungkook teased a particularly emotional song that he believes will stand out on the record.
BTS’s youngest member provided a timeline for the group’s prep work. He shared that once the choreography is finalized, the seven members will begin dance practice sessions on December 19.
Jungkook also said that the group continuously listened to the completed songs and discussed their preferences during the production phase.
The comeback announcement comes after all BTS members completed mandatory military service by the end of 2025. The group initially announced plans for a spring 2026 comeback during a livestream earlier this year, with reports indicating a targeted release in late March.
Earlier this month, Jungkook spoke with Elle Korea magazine on his expectations for next season.
“I think this spring is going to be more important than ever. So I sincerely hope that all of you have a safe and fun spring,” he said.
