It’s no secret that BTS’ Jungkook is an adoring dog dad, after starting his Instagram account for his beloved Doberman, Bam.
The youngest member of BTS took his adoration a step further, starting a YouTube account to document the dog’s life.
The account, @60ww0w_6am, titled “Bam’s Dad”, was announced as a link in the bio of the corresponding Instagram account, @bowwow_bam.
The rare move thrilled fans thanks to Jungkook’s notoriety for his elusive social media presence.
Although the channel hasn’t posted any content yet, it has already amassed over half a million enthusiastic followers.
Some fans noted that the account was created in January 2016 and may have been started with the intention of connecting with fans.
“He created the channel in 2016. I think he just updated the name of the channel,” one said.
“Since he’s currently on duty, it seems like he’ll probably start uploading videos after he gets discharged, haha,” said another.
“Jungkook, please upload lots of videos of Bam. And Bam… upload videos of Jungkook too,” an excited ARMY asked.
“He hasn’t uploaded a single video yet, but he already has 300,000 subscribers – Bam’s dad is something else, haha!” said another.
Jungkook enlisted in the South Korean military in December 2023 as part of the country’s mandatory service.
It is expected to return in June 2025, when all seven members of the mega group will reunite.
BTS’ label HYBE has announced a full comeback scheduled for 2026.
“We are currently discussing with members the full-fledged group operations (BTS) for 2026,” HYBE Chief Financial Officer Lee Kyung-jun said during the company’s third-quarter earnings conference call.
“Plans for 2026 have not yet been finalized. While an entire group (BTS’s) return would indeed generate significant revenue, the growth of other artists and new business ventures means that BTS’ share of overall revenue likely will not be as high. as in the past.”
