The area around Gwanghwamun in Seoul is set to transform into what fans call “Jungkook Land” as supporters celebrate BTS member Jungkook’s comeback performance.
According to Jungkook’s Korean fan club “Jungkook Supporters”, a large-scale advertising message of support will be displayed from March 20 to 21 on the huge KT Square multimedia wall at the KT Gwanghwamun Building WEST. The screen, which measures 1,770 square meters and overlooks Gwanghwamun Square, will broadcast a 30-second video 35 times a day.
Additionally, the fan club will post more than 70 ads per day on the historic electronic billboard “Luxury” in Gwanghwamun. The exhibition covers an area of approximately 3,000 m2, roughly the size of 12 volleyball courts.
The supporting videos will also be shown on Lumimedia’s billboard from March 19 to 21, airing over 70 times per day. On March 21, two additional billboards at the Cheonggye Korea Building in Cheonggye Plaza will broadcast ads more than 100 times a day. bringing the total number of locations in the Gwanghwamun and Cheonggye areas to five main screens.
Meanwhile, the Chinese fan club “Jungkook China” will also participate by running advertisements March 20-22 on a giant LED billboard on the exterior wall of the Koreana Hotel. The screen covers approximately 1,200 square meters and is located at the intersection where Sejong-daero meets Cheonggyecheon.
To celebrate Jungkook’s military discharge and return, fans also held a series of special support events. These include coffee truck events, Cafe Seoul Forest displays, character balloons, photo booth installations, outdoor decorations, and gachapon events.
Additional promotions include advertising on Seoul buses and taxis in Yeoncheon, as well as the installation of more than 50 banners and street flags throughout the city, highlighting the scale of the fans’ celebration.
