On April 4, a video titled “Juragi, it’s been a while – Updates I couldn’t share” was uploaded to Jung Ji Woo’s YouTube channel “Mejiwoo.”
In the video, Jung Ji Woo shared, “The most impactful and difficult news actually concerns the treatment of in vitro fertilization”, adding that because it was such a personal matter, he initially hesitated to talk about it publicly. She explained that during her 5-6 month break from YouTube, she took time to rest both physically and mentally. After dealing with heavy workloads and stress, she seriously considered preparing for a family and decided to proceed with IVF treatment.
She revealed she began IVF procedures in November last year, saying: “I recently had my first embryo transfer, but it didn’t work. It was what’s called a miscarriage.” He continued, “The first attempt ended with unfortunate news, but I am recovering well and staying healthy.”
Jung Ji Woo added, “I heard this happens quite often, so I tried to take it calmly, but it wasn’t easy. I’m fine now, though. I’m taking care of my health, so please don’t worry.”
He also explained why he decided to share such a personal story, saying: “As I restart YouTube and continue to share my daily life as a vlogger, IVF has become a big part of my routine. I realized I couldn’t share my life honestly without mentioning it. Even though it’s personal, I felt I needed to open up about it.”

She further shared that she is currently considering a second egg retrieval and additional embryo transfers, adding, “I think I’ll start again soon.”
Born in 1990, Jung Ji Woo is known not only as J-Hope’s sister but also as a successful YouTuber with 2.38 million subscribers, as well as a model, entrepreneur and influencer.
