“Can we shed some light on the lack of professionalism?”
Netizens believe it BTS‘S J-Hope was disrespected during his recent appearance.
On January 23 (local time), J-Hope performed at Yellow Coin Gala 2025.
Before the show started, netizens shared that the TikTok Live host covering the event seemed to be biased against J-Hope and ARMY.
The Tiktok live host is so biased… She was supposed to interview the fans but she went straight to 3 gd fans, then she went to a group of fans without glow sticks and when they shouted jhope she went straight to the one with the glow sticks bright bp… She seems pissed off when fans say I have hope.

The amount of disrespect they are giving to hope and armies is insane. They purposely avoid mentioning his name and don’t interview the armies with the lightstick which is obviously the majority of the crowd??? Will you piss me off?

As the show began, netizens shared their anger and examples of how they believed J-Hope was disrespected and unprofessional by the organizers, whether it was mentioning the idol’s name, playing BTS songs or moments from the hosts. Even though J-Hope was personally asked to open the show, netizens believe he was not respected throughout the evening.
I don’t speak French to confirm or judge certain things. So here are some things I witnessed at the gala that I can confirm
– The host didn’t mention Hobi in the list of artists at the beginning
– They made someone “dance” on stage to Standing Next To You. SNTY…— gomooshin7 sees Hobi (@taesoothe) January 24, 2025
Now that it’s over, can we shed some light on the lack of professionalism? how wdym you didn’t mention the opening act and the act that filled more than 70% of your seats?

Girl… all of this happened in just a few hours
– armies who said they were there in the hope that the host would move away from them
– he stopped playing
– the dynamite game interrupted
– the host stopped the armies from cheering for jhope by interrupting them with a random “ooooh oooh”.— jiah⁷(ꪜ) | BTS YEAR (@namcloser) January 23, 2025
It’s a charity event and all, but I feel like they’re just disrespectful to hope at this point

he was at a point where I could see the teleprompter and his name wasn’t 100% on the screen at first.
The other artist had a louder sound system, light shows and confetti. I felt their bass in my heart.
BP’s discography was played in full before the show began.
Dynamite…

now that jhope is done performing, we can talk about the blatant disrespect he received ALL NIGHT. from not being mentioned even though it was the interviewer’s opening act while INTENTIONALLY ignoring the support jhope is getting from the crowd. It’s unprofessional and disgusting.
