“I lived with my cousins at my uncle’s house. Since I was with family, I didn’t feel lonely, but my cousins didn’t speak Korean at all, so I felt a little lonely and very homesick.
If you feel lonely, write in a journal. There’s no one else who will listen anyway. You have to bear it. You decided to study abroad and wanted to live a better life because that’s the path you chose to learn a new language. You just have to put up with it.
But being alone is difficult. My mother told me not to call her if I have to speak Korean. So I wrote a lot in my journal. There were a lot of curses in my diary. When you feel lonely, I recommend writing in a journal.
