Starting from Monsta X, the K-Pop stars such as Exo and BTS, as well as actors such as Lee Do Hyun, Song Kang and Hwang Min Hyun, will be ready to complete their military service this year.
The members of Monsta X Kihyun and Hyungwon will be the first to complete their service on February 21 and May 13, respectively. Kihyun is currently in service in the 25th Army Infantry Division, while Hyungwon is in the division of Meccanized Infantry in the capital.
In particular, Monsta X will celebrate their tenth debut anniversary on May 14 this year. With the Hyungwon exhaust, the group will meet as a complete unit to commemorate this milestone together.
Kai, who started his alternative service as a public service worker in May 2023, will be discharged on February 10th. In the same way, Sehun, who enrolled in December 2023 for the public service, will complete his service on September 20. Once both have completed their duty, Exo will also end their military break and resume full group activities.
BTS’s military break will end by June. Starting with Jin’s Scroed in June last year, followed by J-Hope in October, the remaining five members will also return soon.
RM and V, who enlisted on 11 December 2023, will be discharged on June 10, while Jimin and Jungkook, who enlisted on December 12th, will return on 11 June. Suga, who started his alternative service as public assistance in September 2023, will complete his duty on June 21.
Lee Do Hyun, who will be publicly released with his colleague actress Lim Ji-Yeon, will be discharged on May 13th. Kim Min Kyu, who has gained global popularity through SBS’s “commercial proposal” in 2022, will complete his service on September 30th. Meanwhile, Song Song Kang, who has cemented his reputation as a “trusted actor” through Netflix’s “Sweet Home” series, will return from military service on October 1st.
The NCT Toeyong, who enrolled in the navy in April last year and is currently a cultural promotion soldier, will be discharged on December 14th. Hwang Min Hyun, who enrolled as a public service worker in March last year, will complete his duty on December 20.
