“APT.” is a dance song inspired by the drinking game, in which participants stack their hands while one person calls out the numbers. Players must remove their hands one by one until someone is caught, forcing them to drink. This game is very well known among Koreans and was previously demonstrated by Rosé at an after-party of luxury brand YSL.

Rosé said that one evening, while working in the studio, she taught the staff how to play, leading to the creation of the song when Bruno joined. Both artists are credited as songwriters, with Bruno taking care of the arrangement.

This song will be included on Rosé’s first full-length album, “Rosie,” out December 6th. Rosé contributed lyrics and composition to all 12 tracks on the album, sharing her honest and intimate stories.
