Brown-Eyed Girls’ Healing Noted 5 Years After Propofol Fine ‘A Dramatically Changed Atmosphere’

On September 18, Brown Eyed Girls’ JeA shared a photo with Gain on her official account, writing, “Thanks to our littlest one for showing up unexpectedly at my birthday party!

JeA added: “Yesterday there were so many beautiful memories, I don’t know how to organize them all. I will upload videos and photos with care and beauty. It was a continuous series of happy moments. Thank you to everyone who celebrated with me, I love you all.

Singer Jo Kwon commented: “I also met Gain unexpectedly! Happy birthday, sis.”

JeA tagged Gain’s official account with the post, but Gain hasn’t been active on social media since April 2020. The photo capturing her recent appearance has attracted attention due to its noticeably different vibe.

Meanwhile, Gain was fined ₩1 million in 2019 for illegally administering propofol at a location in Gyeonggi Province. The fine was imposed through a summary indictment.

After a period of self-reflection, Gain returned to broadcasting activities in June of this year as a guest on KFN Radio’s “Miryo’s Freestyle.” This was the first time in five years that all members of Brown Eyed Girls appeared together on a show since 2019, making it a hot topic.

On the radio show, Gain talked about his current life, “I continue to follow my diet. I maintain it with proper meals. Even though there is nothing concrete yet, I am trying to present a good look to everyone as soon as possible..”

When Miryo hinted at a potential solo project by asking “Alone?“, Gain replied, “While there is nothing specific, I am working hard on various fronts, both physically and in terms of appearance, to show you something good. I have tried a lot of different things, and this time I even tried to perm my hair.”
