An accident made her suffer a lot.
In his new video shared about her YouTube channel, comedian turned content creator Lee Se Young revealed she underwent surgery to reverse the serious side effects of her breast augmentation procedure gone wrong.
In the video, Lee noted, “I couldn’t upload the videos for a while because I was still recovering from the review process.” After recovering and “regain sensitivity” in the affected area, Lee decided to share the experience on camera in hopes of highlighting the importance of performing cosmetic procedures at reputable clinics.

Although Lee has undergone a nose lift and two double eyelid surgeries, her recent complications are actually due to a procedure performed on her breasts. He explained it after receiving it “fillers” by volume, found that the procedure was no longer permitted in Korea. She was told the fillers were soluble, but she was unable to dissolve and absorb the material.
Then, in 2023, he had an accident while training. She hit her chest on a barbell and the undissolved filler broke inside her. Soon, he felt pain.
It hurt a lot. I thought everything would be fine, but the filler in my left breast, where I had the surgery, ruptured. If it had burst all at once I would have noticed right away, but since it tore gradually I didn’t notice.
But one day I noticed that my breasts were getting hot and I wondered if I should see a doctor. Then, looking in the mirror, I noticed that my lats were enlarged and my breasts looked asymmetrical. Things got really bad in the space of a few days. The filler had spread to my back.

The revision procedure, although painful, went smoothly and “about 98% of the filler has been removed.” Lee Se Young said so “I couldn’t do anything for a month or two.” She has since also had the filler on her right breast removed, costing her just under ₩10.0 million KRW (approximately $7,020 USD) in total. Lee pointed out, “It’s not that cosmetic procedures are harmful, but research is non-negotiable,” and commented that she too will learn a lot before completing her next job.
