BLACKPINKit’s a record Rose recently talked about his music and more The hot ones. While most of the interview was fun and playful, this superstar also showed his vulnerable side during some touching moments.
The hot ones is a popular YouTube show by First let’s celebrate which invites celebrity guests to eat increasingly spicy foods while answering interview questions. Ed Sheeran, Shaq (also known as Shaquille O’Neal), Paul Rudd, Billie EilishAND NSINC these are just some of the many stars who have put their palate to the test.
During the interview, the host stated this “Songwriters can be very demanding about their surroundings and atmosphere in a studio.” He asked the BLACKPINK star, “How would you describe your ideal conditions for creativity?”
Rosé’s response was both honest and vulnerable, providing insight into both her personal life and her creative process. “I don’t want to say it” he began. “but usually when I’m like, like… for me it’s been, like, an experience of like, ‘Wow, life’s been pretty bad lately.’ It’s always been the best session because I end up walking out with a song where I left everything there and I walk away with a great song.
“Literally this album is a representation of my last three or four years,” he continued. “and all the raw, honest emotions I’ve never talked about before. It’s just like a representation of that, and so it has a lot of my heartbreaking stories and vulnerable emotions integrated into it. And so I think that’s the beauty of it. This is what I like most about creation, [it’s] that you can turn something not great into something beautiful.
