Blackpink‘S Rose thrilled fans with his success once again after earning a new Guinness World Records Achievement never seen before in K-pop, making her a five-time world record holder!
This week, Guinness World Records announced that Rosé is now the first K-pop artist to reach number one on the Apple Music Top 100 Global Charts. This marks the confirmation of the record he broke on October 24 last year, topping the chart with his hit song “Apt”. with Bruno Mars

The Grade was just one of many numbers on Rosé’s “Apt.” earned worldwide, topping national charts from Australia to Venezuela. She became the first female K-pop soloist to earn a top 10 in the UK singles chart (breaking her own record when “Apt”. It rose to number two the following week) and became the K-pop act with the highest cart on Advertising billboard‘S Air pop Chart, which ranks the popularity of songs played on American radio. The collaboration also received multiple awards, including “Song of the Year”. Awards Asia Artist Awards and a pending nomination for “Best Music Video” at Awards IhearTradio Music.
So, it’s no surprise that the track earned the star another Guinness world record. Rosé held several records with Blackpink, achieving her first solo record when she became the first artist to top the Billboard Global chart both as a soloist and member of a group. In the same year, 2021, it also broke the then-record for the most visited K-pop music video in 24 hours, knocking out Psy“Gentleman” record of 2013 with 41.6 million views.
His new album Rosie then collected the Guinness World Record for the highest uploaded female K-pop album on Billboard 200debuting at number three. Now, just weeks into 2025, she’s already on her second record of the year—the first being her feat as the first female K-pop act to enter the Billboard Radio Songs Top 10 graphic. His new Apple Music record now marks the third for Rosie Alone, and there’s every chance it will continue to accumulate more.
