According to the Bangkok Post and other local media outlets, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) announced on October 15 that Lisa will represent the nation as the face of its “Amazing Thailand” campaign, promoting the country’s rich culture and unique charm to the world.
TAT predicts the campaign could bring in 5 to 10 million more tourists by next year, boosting Thailand’s global tourism appeal.
TAT Governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool praised the collaboration, calling it “An important milestone that will showcase the beauty, diversity and hospitality of Thailand from a new perspective.” He added, “Lisa represents the essence of Thailand’s heritage, identity and warmth.”
As the new ambassador, Lisa will highlight Thailand’s travel destinations, traditions and cultural attractions, presenting the nation as a safe, world-class travel destination. The campaign also aims to encourage not only international tourism but also domestic travel, helping to boost local economies across the country.
The Tourism Authority concluded: “We hope every Thai will be proud of this partnership with Lisa and join us in promoting Thai tourism together.”
