Jisoo has been focusing on acting lately, appearing in multiple productions, with more apparently planned for the near future. Despite this content, some have expressed negativity over the lack of focus on his career as a solo musician.
BLACKPINK’s Jisoo has been inundated with criticism for her recent activities
In early January, it was reported that the idol was preparing for his solo comeback, much to the excitement of fans. This was confirmed on January 21, with a “Coming Soon” message posted alongside two teaser images titled “Amor Montage”.
While it is unclear what the release of this post will be, its release date is February 14, 2025.

Many were excited about the news, but some expressed some concerns about the impending release, including the lack of “hype” and details about whether it would be so soon.

Nobody promotes an album in just 20 days. It makes more sense to release a single on February 14th, then the album 2-3 weeks later. If Blissoo wants to release an album on February 14, promotion should have started last week. Otherwise he’s worse than YG😆

Criticism appears to have also been aimed at Jisoo, prompting her to share multiple messages on a fan chat platform. Through messages, Jisoo addressed fans’ concerns and apologized.
- “I wanted to show you different things as soon as possible, but I also wanted to show them perfectly… So I ended up taking my time, haha.”
- “It’s really hard trying to figure it all out on your own!! But I resist, believing that BLINKs will like it!”
- “Oh, I was a little stressed too, but talking about BLINK made me feel better. Haha, as expected, I’m simple.
- “Since BLINK said it’s okay, I feel good now! Haha, LOL.”
- “I feel like I made you keep waiting even though you were already looking forward to it. Excuse me! Just ‘bam bam bam bam!’ and make it all come out like, “What is this?!,” I will make it happen for you! Haha.”
- “I’m sorry and I love you 🥺💜 When something comes out, I will give you lots of love.”
Following these messages, fans came to Jisoo’s defense and shared their support for the idol.
