BLACKPINK‘S Jenny apparently panicking after being recognized during a variety show.
Jennie currently plays the role of “Maria” in the new JTBC show My name is Gabriele.
In the last episode, after Jennie became the “Maria” character, she welcomed some male guests. After picking them up, she got into the car and as they drove, one of the men looked at his phone and showed it to his friend.
One then said“I feel like I’ve seen you before.”
Jennie felt adorably flustered, adding to the cast, “That’s when I started to panic.”
In the recent teaser for the episode, it seems that not only did people recognize her as a celebrity, but they knew that she was a member of BLACKPINK.
During the episode, Jennie served wine and pasta to the guests, was a perfect host and interacted with them.
As the meal continued, one of the guests shocked Jennie by saying: “We think we saw you somewhere.”
As Jennie tried to turn the conversation around, one of the guests talked about her sister and her room, and how she saw it on a poster.
Before anyone explained, “Are you sure you don’t sing ‘BLACKPINK in your area’”
As always, no matter where Jennie goes, people know who she is.
