BLACKPINK’s Jennie asks for help in English following the Los Angeles fires

On January 11, BLACKPINK’s Jennie took to her personal social media account to share a heartfelt message in English, offering her support and expressing concern for those affected by the fires. He wrote, “We are heartbroken for all those affected by the devastating fires in Los Angeles, a place so near and dear to our hearts,” conveying his empathy for the victims.

He continued saying: “So many families, communities and first responders are facing unimaginable challenges and losses right now. We stand with you all and encourage everyone to help however they can. Please stay strong and take care of each other.” Through her words, Jennie encouraged solidarity and compassion in the face of tragedy, urging people to come together in support.

Along with her message, Jennie also included a link that provided detailed information on how people could help with relief efforts, including supplies and shelter for those displaced by the fires.

The fires, which began on January 7, have tragically claimed the lives of at least 11 people, forcing around 150,000 people to evacuate their homes. As the fires continued to spread, reports by the fourth day indicated that about a quarter of the area equivalent to Seoul had been consumed by flames. The scale of the disaster was overwhelming, leaving many people in desperate need of help and support.
