BLACKPINK‘S Jenny he seemingly responded to the backlash he received for his recent Instagram send.
The singer was recently in Japan for a performance and posted some photos of her visiting a popular pizzeria in Osaka. Among the photos was one of a couple in which she was holding a cup of Coca-Cola.
The images have sparked harsh criticism online as the brand is currently facing a global boycott due to its involvement in ongoing human rights abuses in the Gaza Strip.

Fans expressed their disappointment with Jennie’s post for showing the brand’s logo. Since he is a huge global star, any brand’s presence on his social media is usually interpreted as an endorsement, paid or not.
It seems the growing criticism has caught up with Jennie, as she removed the two photos in particular featuring the Coca-Cola cup from the post. Many fans noted that this would be the first time the idol has edited one of his posts Instagramalthough he has already received negative reactions on social media posts in the past.

Jennie’s apparent response to criticism received an overall positive reaction from fans, although some wished she could be more outspoken about the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
I just came back to see the whole situation and I’m really happy that Jennie noticed and deleted the post because a lot of people didn’t. However, I hope he talks about it because he is an inspiration to millions of people, and this will push them to do better too.
