In a rare and touching moment, BLACKPINK DEADLINE World tour in Bangkok took a somber tone as the group and its fans paid tribute to the late Thai Queen Mother Sirikit, who has died aged 93.
Following the official announcement of his death, Live Nation Tero, the concert organiser, quickly issued a notice encouraging all attendees of the two-night shows at Rajamangala Stadium (October 25-26) to wear black and white clothing to express respect and condolences to the Thai royal family.

Before the concert began, the entire audience gathered in a minute’s silence in remembrance of Queen Mother Sirikit – a powerful and emotional moment that transformed the stadium into a sea of black.

In coordination with this tribute, YG Entertainment modified the concert’s stage design and replaced it BLACKPINKThe unique pink LED visuals with an all-black theme envelop the venue in a solemn yet graceful atmosphere.
“The concert turned into a symbol of unity and respect, while thousands of fans stood in silent reflection,” one attendee shared on social media.


Although the Thai government had only recommended a temporary pause on entertainment activities, both fans and organizers voluntarily chose to modify the concert experience, reducing pyrotechnics and lights and adopting muted tones in clothing and imagery.
Despite the sober atmosphere, BLACKPINK they continued their performances as scheduled, maintaining the same lineup seen in other cities. However, each member’s solo stage adopted a dominant black palette as a sign of reverence for the late Queen Mother.
