In the October 4 episode of JTBCthe variety show “My name is Gabriele”BLACKPINK’s Jennie shared her candid thoughts on some familiar advice from her mother about not spending time with men. In the episode, Jennie spent 72 hours as the owner of an Italian guesthouse, interacting with guests and also showing her charm and hospitality.
When a group of male Italian guests asked for wine, Jennie served them graciously and even made some spritzes herselfsharing the moment with his guests. During the meeting, her mother called in with some advice that made viewers smile. He also suggested that Jennie prepare dinner for the guests, but then added: “And don’t go out with the boys,” in a typically protective maternal tone. Jennie’s witty response, “Mom, this is my life” he made the studio laugh, jokingly asserting his independence while acknowledging his mother’s concerns.
