BIG BANG star Taeyang found himself in trouble after a recent interview with CNN went viral and sparked a heated debate online. As a result, all of his recent Instagram posts were overwhelmed with comments from those who were upset by Taeyang’s words.
During the interview Taeyang and CNN talked about all things K-Pop and BIGBANG, specifically focusing on the impact the group has had on the global rise of K-Pop. When asked what he thought about K-Pop’s current global dominance, Taeyang opened up and shared his thoughts.
Luckily, we were able to open doors to global markets for many K-Pop bands who came after us. And they can perform on world stages. I wouldn’t say we presented it, but it’s great that our efforts played a role in that.

Taeyang’s response apparently shocked a group of netizens who took to Instagram and flooded his most recent posts with “BTS led the way” comments.
After BIGBANG and Taeyang’s own fans became aware of such comments, they also began spamming encouraging comments and yellow hearts to show support for the star and defend him from any accusations.
Therefore, Taeyang’s recent posts have become the center of a heated online feud between those who are unhappy with the BIGBANG star’s interview and those who defend him from spam comments.
