Fans call for boycott.
BELIFT LABORATORY is currently heating up for a rumored upcoming collaboration ENIPENE.
On October 1st McDonald’s The Japan X account shared a photo with the message “coming soon.” The image showed a person covered in leaves, but some facial features were left exposed.

Fans quickly concluded that the image was of Ni-Kibased on, among other characteristics, the piercings and mole on the individual’s chin.
Almost immediately, the announcement sparked significant backlash as fans expressed their disappointment and frustration with BELIFT LAB.
The crux of the controversy stems from McDonald’s alleged involvement in the ongoing genocide in Palestine. The brand boycott began after news reports revealed that the owner of a McDonald’s franchise in Israel said the restaurants would provide free meals to Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers and Israeli hospitals.
Newsweek said the Israeli franchise dedicated five stores to this initiative, donating over 100,000 meals.
This strengthened previous protests against HYBE, with fans using the hashtag #HYBEDivestFromZionism to share their grievances with the company.
We do NOT want Enhypen to promote or have any association with McDonald’s. they are boycotted by BDS for financing the genocide in Palestine. Please practice responsibly@HYBEOFFICIALtwt @BELIFTLAB #HYBEDivestFromZionism pic.twitter.com/c6YZ4eacnZ

This rumored upcoming collaboration has also added to the complaints fans have already had with ENHYPEN’s company, including their upcoming show. Fans also accused BELIFT Lab of “sabotaging” the group/Ni-Ki with the collaboration.
At this point, I think Belift is being willfully ignorant and trying to sabotage it, because there’s no way they aren’t aware of what’s going on, and how fans have been consistently vocal in expressing their disappointment at not associating the guys at such brands.
