Usually, fans of idol groups campaign for their favorites to have more time to rest. Many groups have famously spoken out about their lack of downtime, sometimes resulting in a negative reaction from fans.

Currently, ARTMS fans are protesting, not because the group is having a day off but the opposite for a specific reason.
ARTS it is one of the many groups formed afterwards LONDON Left Blockberry Entertainment. Consisting of Heejin, Haseul, Kim Lip, JinsoulAND Cheerrythe group debuted in May 2024 under Jaden Jeong‘S Modhaus.
Previously, the company had been criticized for using a system called Severity to let fans vote on what ARTMS would wear to the airport. The vote is paid for, leaving many uncomfortable with the control given to fans.

This time, fans are more outraged as the platform is being used to decide the details of a planned rest day for the group. In an announcement on the group’s X account, it was shared that there would be a scheduled “rest day” that would be filmed for content.
However, the company announced that each member will be given a sum of money to spend, ranging between 300 euros and 10 euros (around $330 to $11).
The rules also included that members could team up but not exceed a budget of 300 euros and that fans could make suggestions on their activities.
Many fans found this cruel and humiliating, wondering why a day off during their busy schedule couldn’t be just that. Others have asked that this “day of rest” not happen and be replaced with a real one.
