Born in Seoul, Korea, Bae Doona is said to come from a wealthy background, and is rumored to be the daughter of the president of the Korean food manufacturing company “Pulmuone”. The actress herself, however, denied these rumors, stating that her father was a friend of the president of Pulmuone and at the beginning they worked together, but now he is doing something different.

Career
In 1998, Bae Doona began her entertainment career as a model before landing her first acting role in the film “The Ring Virus”.
