On the 28th, MBC M’s “Weekly Idol” featured crew BEBE, who won “Street Woman Fighter 2.” The crew performed an impromptu choreography. Boom and Mina, Lee Jang-jun, and Tatter competed in a dance battle, with the two couples performing aespa’s “Armageddon.” The result was a win for Tatter.
Then, the members, from the youngest Sowon to Lusher, Kyma, Chaechae, Mina, Tatter, and leader Bada introduced themselves. Team BEBE explained that they were wearing yellow outfits inspired by the color of the “Weekly Idol” logo.
Bada shared her thoughts on BEBE being the first dance team to appear on “Weekly Idol”: “I feel like I made the right choice by becoming a dancer. I never dreamed that I would appear on ‘Weekly Idol.’ I will show all my passion and everything I have.”
Bada named Tatter as the member who annoys her the most these days, saying, “Tatter walks into the rehearsal room with his signature posture.” Tatter, known for his sensitivity, named Mina as the most easily hurt. Mina responded, “I think Tatter is more sensitive than me.” Member votes confirmed that Mina was indeed the most sensitive. Boom commented, “This is the cleanest vote I’ve ever seen.”
Bada chose aespa’s “Next Level” as the most challenging song he’s ever worked on, saying it was a real tearjerker. He explained, “Aligning the angles and timing of ‘ㄷ dance’ wasn’t easy. I initially thought about creating a sweeping movement to convey the feeling of ‘Next level.'” Although “ㄷ dance” was created instantly, the initial draft almost used a palm stand.
Mina said that Bada is the one who searches for her name the most out of all the members, to which Bada laughed and said, “Actually, I really love myself a lot.”
Bada also noted that Lusher is often compared to Julie from Kiss of Life. She weighed between Lusher and Mina for the team’s “sexy queen” and ultimately declared Lusher the winner after she performed “Sticky” from Kiss of Life. Watching this, Boom joked, “She even flips her hair the same way,” raising suspicions of practice and prompting laughter.
A voting session for the “Professional Responder” who gave the most honest answers after the start of the weekly Q&A of Relay N. Lee Jang-jun noted, “Five minutes out of seven were voted for themselves,” which brought laughter to the scene. Thanks to honest voters Kima and Lusher, the Professional Responders were chosen as Mina and Chaechae.
Afterwards, BEBE’s casual dance segment began. Although the dances were increased to three times the speed, causing some confusion among the members, they performed choreography by Dynamic Duo, Lee Young-ji’s “Smoke,” and Hwasa, Stray Kids, and NCT Dream.
