On October 16 (KST), the world’s most famous lingerie fashion show took place in the United States, featuring the famous K-pop group TWICE as guest artists. Only four members Jihyo, Nayeon, Momo and Tzuyu took the stage, marking the group’s first-ever appearance at the event. Unfortunately the result was far from expectations.
Their performance, which included the songs Strategy AND This is forit was criticized for being bland, shaky and lacking in charisma. Many international spectators pointed out the members’ nervous voice, unstable live singing and awkward English pronunciation, describing the stage as “sleep inducer” AND “disappointing” compared to Madison beer.
The only thing saving TWICE’s appearance seems to be their stunning graphics. All four members attracted attention for their flawless figures, long legs and bold, low-cut dresses that dominated both the red carpet and main stage. But this alone was not enough to win over the public. On social media platform X (formerly Twitter), many users commented on it bluntly “Aside from showing off their chests, Jihyo, Nayeon, Momo and Tzuyu had nothing else to offer at the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Show.”
Fans also noticed that unlike Lisa’s appearance last year, TWICE didn’t get any special treatment or “Angel Wings” from the Vittoria’s secret organizers. Instead, they were forced to perform on the sides of the runway, ceding the main stage to professional models, a move that some saw as a sign of a lack of respect or enthusiasm from the brand towards the group.
