New dating rumors involving BTS member Jungkook and Aespa’s Winter surfaced online this week after eagle-eyed fans said they spotted matching tattoos on the two K-pop stars.
Speculation began spreading on Korean online forums in early December 2025, specifically pointing to a scene from Jungkook’s recent travel program content.
The main piece of evidence fueling the current conversation is a set of alleged matching “puppy” tattoos, according to the Korea Times. Netizens noted that Winter had previously been seen with a drawing of three little puppies on her arm earlier this year, a detail that sparked debate at the time over whether it was real ink or a temporary sticker.
In the first week of December, a viral post on the Nate Pann forum highlighted a screenshot from the second season of the Disney+ travel show “Are You Sure?!,” which features Jungkook and fellow BTS member Jimin. The user claimed that a blurry mark visible on Jungkook’s arm in the footage resembles the same three-puppy drawing seen on Winter.
Following this observation, Internet sleuths compiled additional “evidence” to support the theory. This list includes claims that the two idols wore matching blue nail polish on their ring fingers and were seen with identical accessories, such as silver rings and bracelets. Others pointed out that both singers performed the same song, “Yukon” by Justin Bieber, and were reportedly spotted wearing similar brands of shoes.
Despite the viral nature of the posts, many fans remain skeptical of the claims. Supporters argue that Jungkook’s screenshot is too low quality to confirm what the tattoo actually depicts, with some suggesting it could be a band-aid or an entirely different design. Times of Hindustan reported. Others have noted that “puppy” designs are common in temporary tattoo stickers popular among idols, meaning even a resemblance could be a coincidence rather than a sign of a relationship.
It’s not the first time the two singers have been linked. The rumors first appeared in 2023, when both were spotted attending a Harry Styles concert in Seoul, and again later, when fans pored over their social media posts for similarities.
As of December 6, neither HYBE nor SM Entertainment have released an official statement addressing these specific tattoo allegations, although both agencies have quickly denied false dating rumors for their artists in the past, as per Koreaboo.
