On December 15th, PROJECT ALL DAY member Annie showed her sincere charm during her appearance on KBS CoolFM’s Park Myung-soo’s radio show. Known as the granddaughter of Shinsegae honorary president Lee Myung-hee and daughter of Shinsegae president Jung Yoo-kyung, Annie has attracted attention for her unique background.
Host Park Myung-soo opened the conversation, asking if the “rich girl” label was burdensome. Annie responded honestly, saying: “If it’s a spell, then it’s a spell”, showing his carefree attitude. When asked if she was expecting her earnings, she admitted, “I’m waiting a long time. I haven’t received my payment yet, so I’m curious when it will arrive.”
The conversation turned funny when Park Myung-soo asked about the convenience store’s 1+1 deals. Annie replied: “Of course I buy them. Ice cream is always 1+1. I recently bought a lot of them thanks to a 1+1 deal.” However, he added with a laugh that discounts at department stores are “forbidden”.
During discussions about end-of-year plans, Annie expressed concern about Park Myung-soo’s DJ job in cold weather, prompting him to make a joking remark about hoping for discounts at department stores.
Since debut with PROJECT ALL DAY in June, Annie proved she goes beyond the “chaebol idol” label. Despite the skepticism of some, his seven years as an intern paid off, earning him quick recognition from the public.
Recently appeared in the web program “Pinggyego‘, Annie shared her love of music and revealed insights into her journey. She explained that her parents promised her a debut if she completed her studies at an Ivy League school, but she chose to pursue her dream of becoming a singer.
Reflecting on post-debut experiences, Annie shared a surprising moment: visiting a scalp care clinic and being asked for her autograph, realizing for the first time, “Ah, I really am a celebrity now.”
