Lee Tae Geun has sadly passed away, leaving fans heartbroken.
On September 6, Korean broadcaster SPOTV News reported that the singer had previously passed away on September 4. Lee Tae Geun was 41 years old. Sources said that Lee Tae Geun fell into a coma after receiving a booster dose of COVID-19 in 2022.

The singer’s wife said that 3 hours after the booster dose, Lee Tae Geun was followed by severe headache, vomiting and severe dizziness. A CT scan was finally done and the results showed that Lee Tae Geun suffered from a cerebral hemorrhage.
Given the sad news, fans began to express their condolences on social media. OSEN news agency also reported that the singer’s last post was published on June 17. The letter read:
“I’m sorry, my love. Thank you so much. You’re always there for me, so I love you even more. I can’t do this without you, and a cry from my heart is what I can finally express.”

Lee Tae Geun debuted with the group Akdong Club in 2002, before becoming a member of The AD in 2006.
