While Single’s Hell contestant Choi Si Hun couldn’t find love in the first season of the Netflix show, he managed to find it off the coast of Paradise Island.
Singer Ailee, Choi’s girlfriend, told how the two met and started dating on a Channel A show Best Friends Talkumentary: Table for 4.
The “Evening Sky” singer explained that she initially had no plans to get married.
“At first I had no intention of getting married and had given up on the idea,” she said.
“I don’t go out much, so I don’t meet many people. I honestly thought I could never get married. Then, out of nowhere, I met him by chance.”
The two started out as friends and eventually their relationship deepened after attending a Dio concert together.
“Watching the concert, we became a couple. That day became our anniversary,” she said.
“It was a little cold in the concert hall and I was shivering. He gave me his jacket to cover me and as we shared it our hands touched.”
Ailee revealed that she got engaged in March to Choi, who currently runs a restaurant in Seoul.
