During the March 12 episode of MBC’s Where is my homeAhn Jae Hyun appeared alongside Joo Woo Jae and Lim Won Hee as they explored real estate in Myeong-dong, the old center of Seoul.
The trio visited a 21 pyeong (about 69㎡) house that had been completely renovated after being purchased for about KRW 400 million in April 2025 by a single homeowner in his 50s. Discussing the property, Joo Woo Jae shared that he also lives alone in an apartment of approximately 84㎡ (25 pyeong), often referred to as the standard apartment size in Korea. Lim Won Hee revealed that her house is similar in size.
Ahn Jae Hyun then surprised the cast by revealing that his house is much bigger. “Mine is bigger. It’s about 40 pyeong (about 132㎡)” he said. However, the actor admitted that living alone in such a spacious house can sometimes feel overwhelming. “At some point, the space started to feel too big,” he confessed.
During the conversation, Ahn Jae Hyun jokingly asked if Joo Woo Jae was comfortable living alone. When the discussion turned to relationships, he turned to Lim Won Hee and asked: “Hyung, are you divorced?” Lim Won Hee, who has been divorced for 13 years, reacted with surprise and responded ironically: “You didn’t know? I’ve been there Dolsing Fourmen for four years!”
Ahn Jae Hyun laughed and admitted that he thought Lim Won Hee had always been single. Ahn Jae Hyun himself married actress Goo Hye Sun in 2016, but the couple finalized their divorce in 2020. Since then, the actor has shared more about his single life, communicating with fans through his personal YouTube channel and appearing on shows showcasing his daily routine post-divorce.
